.DISCUSSION...
Fog should be in the process of clearing out at the burn site by
ignition time at 9am, lifting to a stratus deck. Winds will
strengthen out of the southwest throughout the morning with gusts
around 15 mph expected this afternoon; gusts over 20 mph are not
expected on Friday. An approaching front should keep winds elevated
overnight and rain chances increase Friday night into Saturday. The
showers will be scattered however and the burn site has a ~40%
chance to see rain by early Saturday. Some additional fog-reduced
visibility is possible tonight as a result. Winds will strengthen
out of the southwest for the remainder of Saturday with gusts
20-25 mph expected by late morning and the afternoon. Scattered
showers and isolated storms expected across west-central SC late
Saturday morning and afternoon.
