.DISCUSSION...Cloud cover will be on the increase this morning.
Increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms by late morning and
through much of the afternoon hours. There is currently a surface
trough situated very close to the burn site this morning, and this
will keep winds rather variable for much of the day, depending
on where the trough fluctuates. Moisture will be high today, with
MinRH values only dropping to around 50 percent. With the high
moisture content, be aware that any showers or thunderstorms that
develop anywhere across the area have the potential to produce
brief heavy rainfall amounts, along with strong gusty winds and
a good amount of lightning. Cloud cover may be able to help
suppress afternoon temperatures slightly, which would also lower
the heat index readings from what is currently in the forecast.
