Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
203 AM EDT Wed Aug 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Areas of low clouds will be possible once again this morning,
giving way to partial clearing this afternoon. Rain chances should
be lower this afternoon and evening with more isolated shower and
thunderstorm coverage expected. Rain chances may be higher on
Thursday as a shortwave passes through the region. Rain chances
will be lower on Friday as an upper ridge builds overhead. Drier
conditions are then favored for the upcoming weekend.

Fog potential tonight: Low
