Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1244 AM EST Fri Nov 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A very warm and dry day is on tap today across the area. With
high pressure & a dry airmass in place, min RH values are forecast
to be in the 25-30% range this afternoon. Winds are expected to
be light through the day. Winds turn more southwesterly Saturday
and could gust to 15-20 mph with minimum RH values slightly
higher, between 25-30% with some spots possibly a bit closer to
35%. Winds remain out of the southwest and breezy ahead of the
front Sunday but increasing moisture should bring minimum RH
values in the 40 percents. The front passes during the evening
with winds turning more northwesterly for the early week. Dry
weather is expected to linger into next week.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
