Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
231 PM EDT Sat Apr 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Offshore high pressure will keep southerly and southeasterly
winds common into early next week with occasional afternoon
breeziness. Atlantic moisture will maintain minimum relative
humidity values in the 30%-40% range for most areas during the
day. Expect very good to excellent overnight recoveries.
Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected through the upcoming
week. The next rain chances will come on Wednesday and Thursday,
when there is a chance for mainly afternoon showers and
thunderstorms. There will also be low chances for morning fog or
stratus due to lingering moisture.

Fog Potential through Tonight: Patchy fog-low stratus along rivers/lakes
possible.
