.DISCUSSION...
Heat continues to build over the area with surface high pressure
and upper ridging leading to above average temperatures and
generally light winds. The hottest days this week expected to be
Tuesday and Wednesday where heat indices will rise to around 105F.
The second half of this week, the ridge will begin to break down
and deep layer moisture will increase leading to increasing
potential for afternoon showers and storms each day Thursday
through the weekend.
