Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
104 PM EDT Tue Jul 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...
SW flow ahead of an approaching weak front will lead to a moist
air mass with widespread showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
As drier air impinges on the region from the north and west,
expect limited storm coverage Thursday, favoring the eastern
portion of the area nearer the coast. Typical summertime isolated
to scattered storm coverage expected this weekend. RH values will
remain above critical levels through the forecast period.

Fog Potential Tonight: Patchy fog possible
