Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
159 AM EDT Mon Aug 11 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Generally, the forecast looks more typical of August this coming
week. Cooler than normal temps persist today and tomorrow, with
widespread showers/storms expected to continue. By the middle and
end of the week, temps will be back in the 90s with daily chances
for storms. RH values look pretty robust in the afternoon,
especially with how much rain has fallen recently. Winds through
the period generally look light and out of the west.

Fog potential tonight: Low fog potential but some low clouds will
be possible.
