Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1253 PM EST Wed Nov 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
An upper level disturbance will move along the northern portion
of the forecast area tonight with a few showers possible
associated with it. Rainfall amounts expected to be light,
however. Tonight, a cold front will move in from the northeast
with high pressure ridging into the area behind leading to mostly
light winds, favoring a NE direction, especially in the northern
portion of the area. Surface high pressure shifts offshore to end
the weekend with relative humidity above 50 percent each day.
While there will be a slight chance of rain Friday night into
Saturday, rainfall amounts once again expected to be limited.

Fog potential tonight: Widespread fog possible along the
front tonight, mainly in the Central Savannah River Area.
