Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1249 PM EDT Mon Aug 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Shower and storm chances will be focused along and south of I20
on Tuesday as a front sags into the forecast area. Drier and
slightly cooler weather is then expected on Wednesday and
Thursday. By later this week, below normal temperatures and higher
chances of rain look to return to the forecast area. Overall,
another low impact period for fire weather concerns.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy ground fog is expected in fog prone
locations.
