Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
114 PM EDT Sat Jul 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...
High heat and humidity are likely tomorrow and on Monday with heat
indices in excess of 100 degrees both days. Convective chances
should be low on Sunday and concentrated across the northern
forecast area. Rain chances increase on Monday and especially
Tuesday when much of the region could see showers and
thunderstorms as a cold front moves southward into the region. A
cooler and drier air mass could then filter in behind this
boundary for the mid-week period.

Fog Potential: Low
