Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
425 PM EDT Wed Jul 23 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Moisture returns across the area tomorrow with scattered showers
and storms possible, favoring the southeastern portion of the
forecast area. A drier weather pattern expected late week and
into the weekend as upper level high pressure strengthens over the
area. This will lead to a significantly hotter pattern persisting
into next week. While deep layer moisture will limited, low level
moisture will remain sufficient enough to keep minimum RH above
40 percent.

Fog Potential: Patchy fog possible.
