Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
132 AM EDT Tue Jul 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A front will drop through the area today, then stall just to the
south on Wednesday before returning on Thursday. This front along
with abundant moisture will result in increased chances for showers
and thunderstorms, especially across portions of the CSRA and
southern Midlands. The moisture and higher rain chances will also
result in temperatures at or just below normal values through
Thursday. Building high pressure late in the week and over the
weekend will result in less convection but another round of hot and
humid conditions.

Fog Potential: Low
