Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1225 PM EST Mon Nov 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure remains overhead for the rest of today and
tomorrow, leading to light winds and an overall dry air mass.
Relative humidity expected to dip to near critical values (~25%)
once again Tuesday. High pressure expected to shift offshore
around midweek which will lead to gradually increasing moisture
and increasing WSW winds for the second half of the week. The next
chance of rain will be this weekend from a fast moving low
pressure system which will limit rainfall amounts across the area.

Fog potential tonight: Fog not expected.
