Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1245 PM EDT Fri Oct 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will continue to dominate our weather, shifting
offshore over the weekend. Easterly winds are expected to lead to
a gradual moisture return to the region Saturday with the next
slight chance of rain on Sunday, primarily across the western and
southern forecast area. A cold front to approach midweek next
week, with some rain chances possible ahead of that feature too.
Daily min RH values are forecast to rise from the 35-45% range
today back into the 50-60% range this weekend and early next week.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy fog near rivers and other fog prone
areas possible
