Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
1212 PM EST Sun Dec 7 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A quick hitting disturbance is expected to move in tonight, bringing
back another shot of light rain showers across the area mainly through
early Monday afternoon. Significant rainfall is not expected from this
system. High pressure then brings back dry conditions Tuesday through at
least late Thursday. Southwest winds could be a bit breezy on Wednesday
before relaxing into Thursday. A cold front is then expected to move
through, bringing back rain chances on Friday. At this time, next weekend
is trending toward the drier side.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy fog may once again develop tonight and into
early Monday morning but it is not expected to be as widespread as this morning.
