Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
239 PM EST Sat Nov 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure over the area with light winds and clear skies
through the weekend. As the high shifts offshore Monday, winds
will increase out of the southwest, ahead of a weak cold front.
The front will move through the area Tuesday afternoon with a
few very light showers or sprinkles. Winds will shift from southwest
to northeast. More significant moisture increase comes the
second half of next week with higher chances for rain Thursday
and Friday as a stronger cold front moves through the area.

Fog Potential Tonight: Patchy fog, especially near area
rivers and lakes.
