and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
108 PM EDT Wed Oct 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Building high pressure into the region will bring cooler
and drier conditions tonight through at least Friday. Northeasterly
winds should remain elevated tonight before picking up again Thursday
at 5-12 mph with some gusts toward 20-25 mph possible when the inversion
breaks between 9-10am, but these are expected to subside some into the
afternoon. Similar wind conditions are expected on Friday. Dry weather
is expected Thursday and again on Friday where minimum RH values could
be between 35-40%. Moisture should slowly increase into the weekend
with rain chances increasing Sunday, continuing into early next week.

Fog potential tonight: Low fog potential tonight.
