Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
218 PM EST Wed Feb 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered light rain possible later tonight as moisture moves over
a surface wedge front. Rainfall amounts should remain less than
a tenth of an inch. Front moves north on Thursday, bringing one
day of day and warm conditions back to the area. Winds could be on
the gusty side as a low-level jet mixes a few stronger winds down
to the surface. Rain chances will return generally each day from
Friday onwards as a series of cold and warm fronts oscillate across
the forecast area.

Fog Potential: Patchy fog possible tonight.
