Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
105 PM EDT Fri Oct 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...
A coastal low is expected to continue developing into the weekend,
leading to breezy northeasterly winds into the weekend, shifting
a bit more northerly by Sunday. Rain chances have increased for
the eastern portion of the forecast area with moisture expected to
move farther inland into Saturday. As the surface low pushes
northeast of the area, rain chances are expected to decrease
Sunday. Drier and warmer conditions return next week as high
pressure strengthens over the area.

Fog potential tonight: Fog is not expected.
