Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
211 PM EST Fri Nov 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will be building over the area through the weekend.
The air mass will be quite dry with afternoon RH values around 40
to 45 percent. Winds will be lighter than the past couple of days.
Afternoon temperatures warm to near normal over the weekend, but
overnight low temps in the 30s expected. Warming continues into
early next week, but another cold front will move through the area
Tuesday. Moisture appears limited at this time but some sprinkles
possible with the frontal passage. A higher chance of showers by
Thanksgiving as weak low pressure develops in the southeast U.S.

Fog Potential Tonight: Fog not expected tonight.
