.DISCUSSION...
Increasing moisture is expected today into the weekend as an upper
ridge shifts westward and an upper trough moves across Florida
into the northern Gulf. A weak upper disturbance will help
initiate scattered afternoon convection favoring the northern and
western Midlands. Winds will remain relatively light today picking
up from the west late morning then possibly shifting to the south
or southeast. A frontal boundary will approach the region on
Saturday keeping chances of rain in the forecast and winds shift
to the northeast. Above normal moisture continues into early next
week with continued chances of rain. Critical RH values are not
expected.
