Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
145 PM EDT Sat Aug 9 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Some isolated shower activity may continue overnight tonight
before moisture increases into Sunday and Monday. The increasing
low level moisture is expected to yield scattered to numerous showers/storms
each day, possibly continuing during the overnight hours. From Tuesday
and into the late week, warmer temperatures and more seasonal shower/storm
chances are expected to set up across the area.

Fog potential tonight: Low
