...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia, including the following
  county, Richmond and central South Carolina, including the
  following county, Aiken.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    North Augusta, Augusta, Fort Eisenhower, Clearwater,
    Belvedere, Hephzibah, Glendale, Daniel Field, Midtown,
    Summerville, Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta Mall, South
    Augusta, Augusta Regional Airport, Burnettown, Kendan Park,
    Hillcrest Memorial Park, Richmond County Recreation Center,
    Minnick Park and Pendleton King Park.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Interstate 520 in South Carolina between mile markers 16 and
    21.
    Interstate 20 in Georgia between mile markers 198 and 201.
    Interstate 520 in Georgia between mile markers 1 and 15.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don`t drown.
