...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the
  following county, Aiken.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1038 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Aiken, Aiken Mall, New Ellenton, Citizens Park, Aiken
    Municipal Airport, Aiken State Park, USC Aiken, Windsor,
    Hopeland Gardens and Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage Preserve.
  - This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile
    markers 15 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don`t drown.
