The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Carter County in southeastern Montana...
  Southeastern Fallon County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 452 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ekalaka,
  moving east at 35 mph. This replaces the previous warning for this
  area.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ekalaka, Mill Iron, Belltower, Medicine Rocks State Park and
  Webster.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek
shelter immediately in an interior room of a well-built structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
