The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Yellowstone County in south central Montana...

* Until 1100 PM MDT.

* At 1003 PM MDT, A severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles
  northwest of Worden, or 26 miles southeast of Roundup, moving east
  at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts, along
           with very heavy rain and frequent lightning.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
           Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Yellowstone County, north of
  Interstate 94.

This warning does NOT include the city of Billings.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
