COUNTY UNTIL 130 AM MDT...
At 1249 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles north of Miles City, moving northeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Matthews Recreation Area and Strawberry Hill Recreation Area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
