...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CUSTER AND WEST
CENTRAL FALLON COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM MDT...
At 745 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 42
miles northwest of Ekalaka, or 36 miles west of Baker, moving
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Plevna and Knowlton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
