...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GOLDEN VALLEY
COUNTY UNTIL 945 PM MDT...

At 918 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms near
Ryegate and 10 miles to the southeast of Ryegate, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail, along with
heavy rain and frequent lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Ryegate and Lavina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
