...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN CARTER AND EASTERN
POWDER RIVER COUNTIES UNTIL 3 AM MDT...

At 223 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles east of Broadus, moving slowly north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail, along with
very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Mainly rural areas of Western Carter and Eastern Powder River
  Counties, north of Highway 212.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
