.DISCUSSION...

Gusty winds are forecast today with speeds reaching into the 30s
mph range. A few gusts up to 40 mph cannot be ruled out on the
more exposed ridges. Winds will gradually taper off over the next
36 hours with a brief lull below the thermal inversion overnight
tonight. A stray shower or thunderstorm (10-20% chance) is
possible between 1600 and 2000 MDT this afternoon and evening.
Wednesday will be drier with RH values easily dipping into the
teens during the day, breezy westerly winds are forecast yet again
Wednesday. Looking ahead, dry conditions linger into Thursday and
winds gusts are forecast to increase once again. WMR
