.DISCUSSION...

Strong winds with low relative humidities will occur today ahead
of a cold front passage late this evening. Ahead of the front,
southwest wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph will be common. With this,
occasional gusts to 45 mph are possible during the afternoon and
early evening. Ridgetop winds will also increase through the day,
becoming strong by this evening. The front looks to arrive around
11 PM MDT to midnight at the burn site. Breezy westerly winds
behind the front with moderate relative humidity recoveries will
exist. On Saturday, the westerly winds will decrease as relative
humidities drop into the upper teens to lower 20s.
