Temperatures will be well into the 90s this afternoon with RH values dropping into the teens everywhere but zone 133. Westerly winds will gust 20 to 30 mph over the western foothills zones, elevating fire weather conditions there. Thousands of lightning strikes occurred with Tuesday nights thunderstorms, expect the hot dry conditions to expose fresh fire starts this afternoon. Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected again today. Storms will be drier today compared to Tuesday. A dry cold front moves through early Thursday morning with highs 7 to 10 degrees cooler Thursday afternoon and slightly higher humidities with northerly winds. Typical summer conditions expected through the weekend with highs in the 90s, MinRH values in the 20s, and low chances for afternoon/evening thunderstorms each day.
