Today will see temperatures in the 60s and 70s (F) with minimum relative humidity values in the 20s and 40s percent. While mostly dry conditions are expected, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast early this morning over portions of central and eastern Montana into North and South Dakota. Late this evening into tonight, the chance of precipitation then increases west of Billings before spreading across the area Thursday. With this, the chance of seeing a wetting rain is 10 to 50 percent on Thursday, though thunderstorms will cause rainfall amounts to vary. A few strong to severe thunderstorms may develop Thursday afternoon and evening around and east of Billings as well. Pre-frontal conditions exist Friday into Saturday as temperatures trend warmer and relative humidity values trend drier. Windy conditions may also develop Saturday over and near the mountains ahead of the front. A low level jet may also develop east of Billings Friday night.
