Look for dry and warmer conditions today. However, we will transition to an unsettled pattern tonight through the early part of the week with a string of disturbances moving through the region. Look for several inches of mountain snow to accumulate with periods of mainly rain showers at the lower elevations through at least Monday. The chance of at least a quarter of an inch of precipitation (0.25 in) during this time ranges from 20% in the far eastern districts near the MT/Dakota border, to 90% in the high country. Areas from Rosebud County westward to the foothills generally fall in the 40-60% chance of a quarter inch of precipitation. Temps will be seasonally cool with occasional brisk winds.
