Scattered showers will persist through this afternoon and gradually dissipate through the evening. Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected for the Sioux RD this evening. Into tomorrow, strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to begin off high terrain mid afternoon, tracking northwest through the evening affecting most of the region. The main threats will be large hail, heavy rain and strong winds. Afternoon isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are again expected Monday afternoon. Into Tuesday and Wednesday, ridging will enhance warm and dry conditions with a possible cold frontal passage Wednesday night.
