A disturbance and associated cold front will drop through the region later today and this evening, bringing increased chances for rain/snow switching over to all snow, and cooler temperatures. Several inches of snow accumulation are possible into Friday for the mountains and foothills, with light accumulations over the lower elevations. A few weak thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening ahead of the front. Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to 40s today, with highs in the 30s to lower 40s Friday. High pressure will build into the region over the weekend and into next week, bringing mainly warmer and drier conditions.
