Isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and early evening, but this activity will be weaker and less widespread than Sunday`s storms. Tuesday and Wednesday are on track to be hot (triple digits expected) and dry (RHs down to 10%) as strong high pressure aloft builds over the region. A low level jet will bring 25-35 mph gusts to higher hills in eastern zones Tuesday night. Look for deeply mixed winds gusting near 20 mph Wednesday. Also, cannot rule out a few high-based thunderstorms late Wednesday. A dry cold front is expected to arrive late Wednesday night into early Thursday, bringing cooler temps and higher humidities to end the week.
