Cool, humid, and breezy conditions exist today with slow moving rain showers around and east of Billings. Look for these showers to gradually diminish from west to east this evening into tonight, though light showers may linger into Monday morning over south- eastern Montana and north-western South Dakota (around a 15 percent chance). While rainfall rates will generally be moderate to low today, a few heavier showers, and potentially a few weak thunderstorm (20 percent chance), may cause localized heavy rain. As the rain comes to an end tonight, relative humidity recovery will be good to excellent. With this, areas of fog are likely. Conditions trend warmer and drier through the week with occasionally breezy conditions mainly over eastern Montana into north-western South Dakota. Late Tuesday tonight into Wednesday, there is a brief chance of showers and thunderstorms as a weather system lifts through the region (low to medium chance).
