Updated the forecast to spread thunderstorm chances farther east into central zones for the late afternoon and evening period. Conditions will be warm and mostly dry across the region today with a slight chance of showers and an isolated thunderstorm across the western foothills. Chances for precipitation increase Sunday evening and overnight as a strong storm system has the potential to bring heavy rain and mountain snow. The chance of thunderstorms increases Sunday afternoon and evening (10-30% chance) with any thunderstorm having the potential to produce heavy rainfall. Cool and breezy conditions will follow Monday as precipitation diminishes through the day. The next chance for precip will be Tuesday night into Wednesday.
