Gusty southwest winds (to 40 mph) and drier conditions (relative humidity of 20-25%) on Sunday will bring elevated fire weather concerns to the high elevations of the Gallatin NF. Breezy southeast winds (20-40 mph) can be expected over the east, with a low level jet developing Sunday night. Showers and a few thunderstorms spread across the area Sunday night with a cold front passage, followed by dry conditions and breezy westerly winds on Monday. Gusts of 35-50 mph will be common across the districts, strongest for areas from Big Timber north through Judith Gap. While a few showers are possible mid week, a weather system towards the latter half of next week looks to be the next chance for precipitation potential.
