Over time, beginning Friday, the air mass will start to turn drier. Min RHs less than 30% are possible along the western foothills by this weekend. By the early to middle part of next week, there are signs that the weather pattern could turn more typical of mid-summer, with less thunderstorm activity. This will be monitored.
