Surface high pressure stalled along the Atlantic seaboard will
maintain a warm overnight period, and then support oppressive heat
and humidity tomorrow. Later tomorrow night a weak cold front will
be bearing down upon western New York, bringing some much needed
showers and thunderstorms to our region...of which some may yield
heavy rainfall on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will then
continue at times through the weekend, with the best chance for
storms Saturday night into Sunday morning.
