452 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A storm system could bring wintry precipitation Thanksgiving Day,
though confidence on exact details including the storm track,
evolution, expected precipitation and accumulation is low at this
time.

A colder pattern will bring the potential for accumulating, possibly
significant lake effect snow east of Lake Erie Friday into the
weekend. There is still large uncertainty in the placement of where
the heaviest snow bands will develop and how persistent they will be
once they form.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
