...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

A mix of light rain and snow will be ending across northern New York
by 10 PM this evening. Additional snowfall accumulation of an inch
or less is expected.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches
  for a storm total of 6 to 12 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and central, northeast, and
  southern Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Scattered power outages are likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

  for a storm total of 3 to 6 inches with some variability. The
  greatest accumulations will occur across terrain above 1500 feet.

* WHERE...Eastern Essex County, New York into portions of central
  and northern Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. Isolated power outages are possible.
