The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Lamoille County in northwestern Vermont...
  West central Orleans County in northeastern Vermont...
  Central Franklin County in northwestern Vermont...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 741 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Fairfield, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Sheldon, Enosburg, Fairfield, Bakersfield, Fletcher, Waterville,
  Belvidere, and Cambridge around 745 PM EDT.
  Johnson, Montgomery, and Belvidere Center around 750 PM EDT.
  Lowell and Eden around 755 PM EDT.
  Hyde Park around 800 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Belvidere Junction, East Enosburg, East Fletcher, East Fairfield,
West Enosburg, West Hill, North Hyde Park, Sheldon Junction, and West
Fletcher.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
