...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CLINTON AND EAST
CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES UNTIL 7 PM EDT...

At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Duane, or 12 miles south of Malone Village, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Dannemora, Bellmont, Franklin, Saranac, Ellenburg, Black Brook,
  Duane, Malone, Altona, Schuyler Falls, Brandon, Peru, Santa Clara,
  Beekmantown, Plattsburgh, Standish, Wolf Pond and Lyon Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
