...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South and southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 40 to 50
  mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and northwest Vermont.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong southwest to west winds will continue
  into this evening, with the highest gusts expected in northern New
  York. Winds decrease quickly after 8 PM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
