...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South and southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 45 to 55
  mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and northwest Vermont,
  including the northern Champlain Valley.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong south winds through 10 AM this morning
  will mainly impact the northern slopes of the Adirondacks and
  northern Champlain Valley, then strong southwest to west winds
  will primarily impact northern New York between 2 PM and 7 PM this
  afternoon and evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
