Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected today as a cold
front drops across the area. Some storms may be strong to severe,
capable of producing gusty winds, lightning and briefly heavy
rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hot weather will return over the weekend with temperatures warming
into the 90s on Sunday.
