.DISCUSSION...
A mostly dry and windy day is in store for today. While winds
early this morning will likely be light and downsloping, winds
will increase significantly in the mid-morning as mixing begins.
Gusts will increase to the 20-30 mph range for today, out of the
west and becoming northwesterly by late afternoon. Winds will go
light and likely downsloping again tonight, though they could keep
a little of the westerly direction. Gusts only increase into the
10-15 mph range tomorrow, out of the northwest again. Relative
humidity values will drop into the 55-60 percent range today and
the 40-50 percent range tomorrow. A broken line of showers will
move through this afternoon, and while a brief period of rain is
possible, it will likely not be wetting. The next wetting rain is
expected Saturday.

Sky/weather.........Sunny (10-20 percent) then becoming mostly
sunny (40-50 percent). Patchy smoke early in
the morning, then smoke early in the morning.
