.DISCUSSION...

Currently, isolated to scattered showers are passing near Sawtooth
Mountain and the surrounding summits. At this time, shower
activity has been too weak to produce lightning. The chances for
additional lightning activity will be very low for the remainder
of the evening. Showers are not likely to produce very heavy
rainfall as well. Winds at both the higher and lower elevations
have generally been about 5 to 15 mph. Gusty winds of 20 to 25 mph
could occur if the core of any shower passes overhead. Ceilings
are likely to range between 2000 and 3500 feet, perhaps briefly
obscuring the summit in clouds. Fog may develop in the lower
valleys overnight.

Rain chances will begin to decline by Thursday morning. Cooler
conditions with north to northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph are
expected, with a few gusts up to 15 mph. Skies will clear out in
the afternoon.
