.DISCUSSION...
Rainfall over the past 24 to 36 hours has ranged between four and five
tenths of an inch over the fire. Cooler and drier air will develop
today behind a surface cold front on breezy northwest winds. Northwest
winds 8 to 14 mph with localized gusts 14 to 18 mph will be possible
in exposed open areas through this morning, but will become 4 to 8 mph
this afternoon and mostly downvalley/downslope by sunset. Minimum
humidities will drop between 38-43% this afternoon with excellent
recoveries anticipated tonight. Temperatures will be in the mid 60s
today with mostly sunny skies.
